Independence Day - 70 Years of Youngness

After India’s struggle to be free from under the colonial rule of the British. India acted aggressively through many of the revolts that we now refer as ‘Freedom Revolts’. Through these revolts, The Indians slowly deprived the British of their monopoly over the Indian Trade market and their court of law, Discrimination between different Castes and Racism. On June 15, 1947 - The British House of Commons passed the Law that would alter the Nation’s History, The Indian Act of Independence. According to this act, The British would discontinue referring India as its own colony and would be given full recognition as A Country. On 15th August 1947, India and Pakistan were formed (though Pakistan had separated from India on 14th August). Lord Mountbatten ceased to be the Governor General of India and instead become the Vice-Roy of India.
On the next day (i.e. 16th August) America gave Pakistan full Recognition as a Country while Nepal, China, and 2 other Countries recognized both Pakistan and India as Countries. Though Pakistan and India are divided, they were together under British rule. After the declaration in the British House of Commons that a new nation- India would be formed Pakistan argued about the differences between the religions and the habits of this country. This lead to the discouragement between the 2 countries to proceed as 1 United Country. Still, we gained Independence from the British and thus we continued to live as a new and prosperous country.
70 Years later we still keep on the good work but with discrimination, racism and we also keep on fighting terrorism. Pakistan has turned against us just for the reason that they are Muslims and we are Hindus. They don’t know most of the facts that most of their people lie in our country, (i.e. 14.2%). We can understand what is a minority but, the method of using this point in blackmailing was never the Intention of getting independence.
India got independence because it was thriving life, inclined towards righteousness and accepted justice only. After all the struggle by our ancestors we got the freedom we wanted and thus we are 70 years old as a new nation close to a century. So, a happy, prosperous independence day to all………
